Hi, Alan Esler did a study in 1962 and estimated there were 574 species in the Abel Tasman, including exotics, his conclusion being relatively low species diversity. The greatest number are at Moa Park where Tony Druce listed 200 species. We don’t have a precise figure for bryophytes (mosses, liverworts, hornworts) but think there would be several hundred. Hope that is helpful.
